2011 Toyota Corolla

Toyota Corolla: High Performance, Reasonable Price

The 2011 Toyota Corolla is one of the most economical cars of the year. It has a few minor upgrades to alter its physical appearance as well. Its added additions include a new sportier bumper and multi-reflector headlamps. Though it has made a few changes it still remains visibly appealing to Toyota Corolla fans.

Standard Features

Its standard safety features include tire pressure monitor systems, vehicle stability control and six standard airbags. Vehicle stability control adjusts the energy given off by the engine as well as the brakes when added control is needed. Standard seatbelt features automatically adjust the seatbelt to prepare passengers for impact. Active headrest also offers added support when the vehicle is hit from the rear. Other standard features include the power tilt moon roof, sliding sunshades and front sport seats. 6-way adjustable seats also provide a more comfortable seating experience for driver and front passenger as well.

Sporty Look

The 2011 Toyota Corolla’s body is a bit sportier than previous models. The radiator grille, front lower grille and front bumper have a bit more edge. The body appears more muscular with sleek lines that reduce noise made by air and wind. Designers wanted to provide drivers with a quieter, more efficient experience. They designed 2011 Corolla with more efficient aerodynamics in mind.

Additional 2011 Toyota Corolla models include base that comes with the new muscular body. It also offers both an LE and S-model. Both are compact sedans. The LE features 16-inch alloy wheels and a sport steering wheel. The S-model comes with keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity and upgraded cruise control features. All models have leather upholstered seating options for a more refined interior feel.

Fuel Efficiency

2011 Toyota Corolla has upgraded its fuel efficiency on manual transmissions. Providing drivers with a few more miles per gallon in city driving. Its fuel economy has always been a fan favorite with as many as 28mpg in the city to 35mpg on the highway. This is an improvement from the 2010 26/35mpg. Models like the Toyota Corolla base and S-Model have seen the most fuel economy upgrades. Automatic transmissions have relatively stayed the same at 26/34mpg.
