Using Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), the 2018 Camry embraces entirely new engineering, design, and packaging strategy. The aim of this new platform is to emphasize and incorporate a thrilling driving experience while maintaining the core strengths of the Camry. New engine and transmission options transform the Camry into something extraordinary. Inside drivers can enjoy an interior space centered directly around them, featuring premium materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and the all-new Entune 3.0 Multimedia System. 2018 Toyota Camry XSE Styling Redesign

Refreshed Styling

Announce your arrival with authority in the bold new 2018 Toyota Camry. Up front, the face of the new Camry is accentuated by a two-piece grille comprised of flowing thin and thick treatments. Toyota designers chose to pursue a wind-cutting profile in order to maximize aerodynamics. Overall height has been reduced by one inch and the width has grown by 1.3 inches, giving Camry a lower center of gravity which contributes to improved handling. The Camry design team placed strong emphasis on the new 2018 model being instantly recognizable, with the goal of being able to spot sport models from up to 200 yards away. Inside, drivers will enjoy unprecedented outward visibility thanks to the more compact instrument panel design and lowered beltline.

Three New Powertrains

Accompanying the refreshed 2018 Camry platform are three brand new powertrains. These include an all-new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine, a new 3.5-liter V6 with D-4S Fuel Injection, and a next-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS II). Gasoline engine models will sport a new 8-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission (8AT). In the case of the 4 cylinder, the main focuses of engineers included higher torque, higher power and lower fuel consumption in total use range. This is achieved through implementing the latest version of the Toyota Variable Valve-Timing-intelligent Electric (VVT-iE) system. Upcoming Camry Hybrid models are anticipated to achieve best-in-class fuel economy ratings, with Prius-like city/highway driving efficiency. Battery location has also shifted from the trunk to underneath the rear seat, improving handling and driver feedback.

V6 models will feature the new Dynamic Navigation system which offers improved map accuracy along with wireless map updates. New Entune 3.0 technologies making their debut include available Remote Connect, which gives you the ability to lock your doors or start your vehicle remotely, vehicle status notifications, guest driver monitoring, a helpful vehicle locator function. Available Service Connect provides up-to-date vehicle information on fuel level, maintenance alerts, and more.
