The Founding Of Toyota

In 1937, when Toyota began, they established the roots of the organization that Toyota has come to be today. This was the year Of Mice and Men was published, Franklin D. Roosevelt was sworn into office, and Amelia Earhart made her first attempt to fly around the world.

2. Toyota moved to America in 1957.

In 1957, a gallon of gas was about 24 cents, a new house would cost you a little over twelve thousand dollars, and a dozen eggs would run about 28 cents.

3. In 2011, Toyota was ranked the third largest car manufacturer in the world.

Toyota has grown a substantial amount over the years. It now ranks as one of the top automobile manufacturers in the world.
